“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Acts. 9:3-4.

There was a  man who returned from church and refused to speak to his wife. She found it strange, but kept him quiet and went to bed thinking that in the morning he would be all right. At breakfast, however, he would not speak a word. Well, she thought this strange, but she was sure he would have got all over whatever was wrong with him by dinner. The dinner hour arrived, and it passed without him saying a word. Every day for a whole week the same thing went on. But at the end of the week he could not stand it any longer, and he said to his wife: "Why did you report me to the Pastor?" "I never did, in fact I have never had a personal conversation with him.” She insisted. "You did," he answered. "You're mistaken, why do you think that?"

"Well, then, I wronged you but when I saw the Pastor pick me out among all the congregation, and  started telling all about me, I was sure you must have had a conversation with him, so I thought." As It turned out she never did. It was God seeking for him and revealing Himself to him. I trust that God will give you such a personalized encounter. I believe God to give you an experience that is tailor made for you. Many so called Christians, always hide under the crowd in church, such that they never have deep rooted experiences with God God is seeking you out on a one on one basis. He wants a face to face encounter with you. You will never get over this.

Paul the Apostle started out his adult life as a major and fundamental antagonist of God and his works. His past time was to either criticise preachers or kill them for practicing the faith. He was on His way to Damascus on a mission for the devil when God gave him a personal encounter. He couldn't hide under any crowd or any guise. He was separated and secluded by God from even those who journeyed with him. He couldn't escape, he couldn't hide, he was stripped of every facade he had been hiding under. His transformation started with this encounter. May you encounter God for yourself. May you know God more personally such that, nothing anybody will say counts except your going all out to do His will for your life. May your life become an accurate expression of God's perfect will without any ambiguity. God bless you.

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the privilege of being alive and being in Your will and counsel. Father, I ask for your divine interruption and intervention in the running of my life. Break me free from running from pillars to posts and give me a deeper experience with You. Holy Spirit in ways you alone can work, visit me, leave back undeniable and tangible experience with me.
