“The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Psa. 121:7-8.

Some countries of the world, especially The United States, run a Witness Protection Programme. It is for individuals who are at high risk because they have testified against someone who wants to see them killed. What the government does for these individuals is literally change their identities. It changes their names, looks, social security numbers, and locations. If the people in the programme don’t accept these changes, the government will not guarantee their protection. But when they do accept the changes, the government protects them. Satan is very upset that when you trusted in Christ, you testified against him. In fact, your life is a testimony against him every day that you operate under the authority of Christ. Because of this, Satan is after you to destroy you.

But God has put you in His own protection programme. He can change the way you look at yourself by showing you how He looks at you. When you see yourself the way God sees you, you will begin to walk differently, talk differently, act differently, and live differently. You will live in the victory that He has already given you. Living according to your new identity as a witness for Christ involves recognizing that your life is no longer defined by your past, mistakes, or worldly status, but by your position as a redeemed, chosen child of God. As a "new creation"  you are called to reflect Christ’s character and actively share your personal experience of His love and salvation with others. Your worth now is according to Christ's estimation of who you are, not your natural attainments.

Now, you must  see yourself through God's eyes. You are forgiven, redeemed, and adopted into God's family. You must reject every lie that Satan sells to you, with the truth that you are a masterpiece created for good works. Internalize your new nature, you are a saint not a practitioner of sin. This shift in mindset breaks the power of old habits. Henceforth, you are called to live as a "Living Sacrifice": Your daily life—how you treat others, react to trials, and work—is the most effective tool for evangelism. Let your life be characterized by love, joy, peace, and kindness, which makes your faith attractive. Maintain purity, avoid contaminating your witness with worldly behaviours; ensure your actions match your profession of faith.

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Lord, I renounce every false identity placed upon me by my past, my failures, or the enemy. Lord, I choose to align my heart, thoughts, and life with Your truth. I declare that I am Your child—loved, chosen, redeemed, and forgiven. I am Your masterpiece, created for good works, and I am complete in Christ.

Holy Spirit, renew my mind daily to see myself as You see me—righteous, victorious, and secure. Help me to walk in the fullness of this identity, living out my purpose with confidence and without comparison in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
