"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James. 4:7.

A hunter raised his rifle and took careful aim at a large bear. When about to pull the trigger, the bear spoke in a soft soothing voice, "Isn't it better to talk than to shoot? What do you want? Let's negotiate the matter." Lowering his rifle, the hunter replied, "I want a fur coat." "Good," said the bear, "that is a negotiable question. I only want a full stomach, so let us negotiate a compromise." They sat down to negotiate and after a time the bear walked away alone. The negotiations had been successful. The bear had a full stomach, and the hunter was covered up in the stomach of the Bear. When Satan says to you, "Let us negotiate." Remember: there are some things that cannot be negotiable. We cannot compromise the church with the world. Christ and His church deserve our very best and utmost loyalty.

As a believer navigating a world of shifting values, maintaining firm spiritual boundaries is essential for a life of purpose and power. Your purity is not a negotiable option; it is the basis for being called a child of God and a vessel for His use. Compromising holiness to fit in or gain worldly advantages reduces your spiritual capacity and invites enemy access to your life. It aids the life of Obedience, never, negotiate with your flesh, emotions, or bodily appetites. While the flesh desires ease, a believer must choose to carry the cross and obey God even when it is difficult. You can't be led by your sensual desires and you expect to go far with God or for God. The life of discipline and uprightness must be your target as a child of God.

Your love for God must not be negotiated for love of the world, its trends, or its sinful pleasures. Scripture calls for separation, making it clear that conformity to the world is not an option for the believer. You must never negotiate with the deceiver (Satan) or give in to fear, as doing so shuts the door on the spirit realm. Faith is not meant to bargain with doubt; it is meant to overcome it through action and trust in God's Word. Your divine purpose for existence is not open to negotiation with your enemies, or even with the demands of temporary, earthly comfort. You must not trade your spiritual destiny for pottage or temporary satisfaction. Your dignity and righteous convictions are things you must never surrender to bullies or compromising situations. A believer’s identity as a child of God is paramount.

The core doctrines of the faith—Scripture alone, grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, and glory to God alone—are non-negotiable foundations of the Christian life. We don't negotiate, we thank a stand in God's will according to God's word. May you remain acceptable to the Father as we await the coming Christ in Jesus name. Selah!
