“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Gen. 8:22.
An old man died, not leaving back any family member in particular. An old time friend decided to give him the honour of attending the quiet funeral since he knows no one will be attending apart from the priest. He showed up at the cemetery that day but noticed that a soldier also attended the lonely affair. As they walked, the wind blew the soldier’s jacket open to reveal the shoulder rank as a brigadier. The brigadier said to the old man’s friend. ‘You will perhaps be wondering what I am doing here. Years ago, Thomas was my Sunday School teacher; I was a wild lad and a sore trial to him. He never knew what he did for me, but I owe everything I am or will be to old Thomas, and today I had to come to salute him at the end.’
I’m sure old Thomas did not know what he was doing all the while when he was sowing such seeds into this soldier. His seeds eventually paid off even though he was dead. Nobody ever knows the degree or level of impact their actions may be. It is our task to sow the seed, and to leave the rest to God. The idea and principles of sowing and reaping are scattered across the scripture. That you will reap what you planted is not optional. This means that your decisions and actions will have consequences and repercussions. Essentially, you will get out of life what you put into it. This principle applies to both positive and negative actions, and it's a universal law affecting all areas of life, including spiritual and financial aspects.
Compulsorily, you must sow what you intend to reap. What you make happen for others God will cause men to make happen for you. Even the power of favour is subjected to the law of sowing and reaping. If you give favour and grace towards believers and humanity, then you can confidently expect favour to come and fill your life. You will reap only from those seeds of favour that you are sowing. Never be found doling out what you don't intend to reap, God is not unfaithful to forget your labour of love or your good works. Neither will negative works of evil people be forgotten. We all reap according to what we planted.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Gal. 6:7-8.
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.” 2 Cor. 9:6.
DECLARATION:
Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Father, I thank you for the harvest you have provided and for the cycle of seedtime and harvest you have established. I pray for a bountiful harvest, not just in material terms, but also in spiritual growth, joy, and abundance. May all I do bring glory to your name, and may your promises of seedtime and harvest manifest in my life. Help me to remain a faithful steward that will be rewarded in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
