“Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him. For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land-a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills.” Deut. 8:6-7. NIV.

The first city to take once you step into  Canaan is called Jericho. Also known as the city of palm trees. I have been to Jericho; and as I walked around it, I tried to imagine that ancient Israelite army marching around the walls without speaking. They had no weapons, just a few men blowing rams’ horns. It was a march to rid the people of all disobedience so that everyone would become totally obedient to the instructions of the Lord. For a whole week, they had to keep their mouths shut as they circled the walls. If you ever wonder whether or not you have Heaven’s victory, check your mouth. When you can keep your mouth shut at the right time, you have the victory. The Israelites underwent a test of pure obedience at Jericho. Compare their obedience with your spirit. They couldn’t speak to anyone to the left or to the right. If someone bumped them, they could not protest out loud.

They had to learn total obedience because only a shout of pure obedience could bring down the walls on that last day. Our obedience must be that complete in this generation, partial obedience is equivalent to total disobedience. If we are to shout down the walls of the enemy. Only voices of the totally obedient will make up that one great voice of the Bride crying in the wilderness like John the Baptist did. In these last days, the Bride will shout; and the walls of opposition will come down. Great things are in store for the children of God, those who are totally obedient and walking hand in hand with Him. Great and wonderful miracles will take place because the obedient live every day and night with the windows of Heaven wide open for them. Recently, the Lord woke me up with the statement that the windows of Heaven are now open wide. Imagine the great peace and confidence such a statement brought to me. I'm sure you can feel such peace and confidence too.

Now, He is turning that thought over in my spirit, and I couldn’t get away from it. I know that statement is from scripture, but I wasn't the one who read and claimed it. It was the Lord who declared it to me in my dreams.I want you to understand that, you who are totally obedient to God, the windows of Heaven are open all the time. You don’t have to beg. Your  needs will be supernaturally and mysteriously supplied. Every member of the Lord's church will be conscious of the fact that he or she can depend on the promises of God, which furnish and bring about miraculous supply. Be expectant, because expectation always proceeds manifestation. God has spoken good concerning the days ahead of you, all you are left with is to align yourself and experience great manifestation of the good promises that God has made concerning you. selah!

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Lord, I desire to live a life of complete, uncompromised obedience to Your commands, not to earn Your love, but as a reflection of my love for You. Grant me a willing heart, remove any stubbornness or fear that hinders my surrender. Give me a willing and obedient heart that delights in Your ways, allowing me to eat the good of the land. I pray that my obedience opens doors to divine favour, prosperity, and peace and ultimately perpetual open heaven in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
