The Power Of Your Focus.

"I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air." 1  Cor. 9:23.

A master archer stood with his apprentice in front of a target. The apprentice pulled back the bowstring, closed his eyes, and let the arrow fly. It missed the target completely and stuck into a distant tree. The master walked over, pulled the arrow out, handed it back, and said, "An arrow never hits a target it was never pointed at. You cannot hope to hit the bullseye by accident." Grace saves us, but intention shapes how we walk it out. If we want our marriages, our faith, our career, our time, and our character to reflect Christ, we cannot just point our bow randomly into the air and hope for a godly life. We must draw the bow with absolute focus and direction.

Living with absolute focus and direction through a biblical perspective involves defining a clear vision, committing your plans to God, and eliminating distractions. True effectiveness is achieved by pursuing your primary calling, keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus as your ultimate guide, and relying entirely on divine wisdom rather than your own understanding. To live with a sense of direction, you must fix your eyes on your ultimate purpose and refuse to be distracted by sideways energy. Absolute focus requires prioritizing the eternal over the temporary. When your primary goal is to align with God's kingdom, the details of your life fall into place.

True focus is about knowing God's mind for you and doing all that is right to maintain your passion and intention. You cannot run forward effectively if you are constantly looking backward at past failures or looking around in fear. Direction is established when you surrender your ambitions to divine wisdom. Internal clarity comes from trusting that your steps are being guided. Your focus is dictated by what occupies your mind. To live with clear direction, you must intentionally filter out negative, chaotic, and destructive thoughts. God's word is designed to govern your thoughts, actions and decisions. The believer is not designed to beat about the bush. Know what God wants for your life, give it what it takes on a daily basis to achieve and go for it.

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Lord, grant me supernatural focus for the days ahead. Steady my wandering mind and quiet the internal and external chaos that threatens to derail my purpose. Imprint Your Word upon my mind so that it becomes the guiding grid for my daily decisions. Remove selfish ambitions, foolish desires, and fear from my heart, replacing them with a steadfast commitment to honour You in all I do in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
