“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well.” Psa. 139:14.

As of March 2026, the world population is approximately 8.3 billion people. Of these 8 billion people who are alive on the earth today, and the countless billions that have come before and will come after us, there has never been, nor will there ever be another person exactly like you. You are not simply an accident or some fluke of nature. You have your own, completely unique DNA code, which is your own individual blueprint, your God-given authenticity stamp. You’ve been endowed with certain qualities, attributes, gifts and talents. You are one of a kind, an absolute out-and-out unique individual. God makes every human being uniquely different to reflect His own creativity and to fulfill specific, intentional purposes. You don't have to strive to look like someone else or to be someone else. Your peculiarity is not a flaw of God or nature, it is  the very purpose of God , celebrate it.

As the crown of creation, humans are designed in God's image, possessing intellect, self-awareness, and the ability to reason. This means your unique personality and mental capacity are intended to reflect aspects of God's character. You are not a random accident, but an intentional creation designed to bear a unique, personal resemblance to the Creator. The Bible teaches that God "knitted" you together in your mother’s womb and that your inner being was not hidden from Him. This implies that your physical, psychological, and spiritual characteristics—your temperament and talents—were meticulously chosen by God for you. You are an original masterpiece, not a copy of anyone else.

God has tailored your spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personality, and experiences (often referred to as SHAPE) to serve a unique purpose. You were created with a specific mission in life, referred to as "good works" in Eph. 2:10, which only you can accomplish. Your specific background and skills are designed to fulfill a role that no one else can fill. As a person, you are distinct from the rest of creation in your capacity to know and love God personally. Your unique experiences and life story are designed to bring you into a special, one-on-one relationship with Him. This is highlighted by the idea of a "white stone" with a new name that only you know, symbolizing a personal, intimate connection with God. Rev. 2:17. Your uniqueness reflects divine variety and glory, celebrate it and seek to fulfil the exact purpose of God for your creation. selah!
