Don't Darken Your Imagination.

“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” Rom. 1:21.

God spoke to Abram in Gen. 13:14-15. He said to him, “lift up your head, look northward, eastward, west and south. I will give you whatever you can see.” Man is tripartite by nature. You are a spirit, you have a soul and your love in a body. Your soul is the seat of your imagination. Your imagination is one of the faculty of the soul. Your imagination has the capacity to produce images that would inform your course of life and destiny. As far as you can see would become the expanse of your destiny. Too many Christians are quite small in their minds and imagination. They are not creative, neither are they imaginative. You must as a matter of necessity improve your thoughts life.

Don't be small in your inside, let your mental image about God and yourself be the exact image God has about you. Don't be smaller than He called you, don't be bigger just be all he has designed that you should be. It takes the renewing of your mind to be able to come to alignment and accuracy in your estimation. As far as God sees should be your boundary. As high as He sees should be your territory. Don't limit yourself in your expectations and imagination. If your mind can't process it, your life can't produce it. Enlarge your capacity to see mentally.

Now the caveat however is that many folks in their so called drive for success have succeeded in bringing darkness upon their imagination. According to our text, “....they became vain in their own imagination…” they gave their thoughts life over to satan and vile affection. They became slaves to their mundane pursuit such that there is nothing God says that they are willing to hear. You must never allow yourself to be caught on this web. Embrace God's word surely, totally and practically. Don't be a slave to your affection, bring your thoughts, affection and imagination under the control and leadership of the word of God. You will end up a high flyer. Selah!

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for another and the privilege of being alive. Father, I thank You for the wonderful imagination that You have blessed me with. It is such an awesome gift to be able to use my imaginations to give birth to my dreams and visions. I pray, Lord, that You will help me to use my imaginations for good and not against You and your purpose for my life. Release the light of Your Word over me and my mind, I step into a new dawn in Jesus mighty name, amen.
