Embracing The Wisdom Of God.

"Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding." Prov. 4:7.

A brilliant and aggressive general conquered many kingdoms using advanced weaponry, massive armies, and ruthless strategy. However, after taking over a small, quiet, and seemingly defenseless province, he was baffled. The people there were prospering and peaceful, despite having no standing army. The general demanded to know the province's secret weapon. The local leader replied, "We do not fight or dominate each other; instead, we sit together, seek wisdom, resolve disputes peacefully, and apply the Creator’s laws." Realizing that true power preserved life rather than just destroying it, the general bowed to the superiority of peace-making wisdom. He spent the rest of his life exemplifying the wisdom he learnt from this small province.

When God offered Solomon anything he desired, Solomon didn't ask for long life, riches, or the defeat of his enemies. He asked for an understanding heart to judge his people. Shortly after, two women came to him claiming to be the mother of the same baby. Without modern DNA tests or witnesses, the courtroom was silent. Solomon, operating in divine wisdom, ordered the child to be cut in half. The real mother immediately surrendered the child to save its life, exposing the truth. The world often overlooks or undervalues quiet, godly counsel, assuming loud power or material wealth is the only way to solve problems. However, wisdom has a delivering and preserving power that outlasts material strength. When faced with a crisis—whether in your marriage, career, or finances—the most potent weapon is not panic, but the supernatural insight of God called wisdom.

Wisdom is not just the accumulation of knowledge; it is the supernatural ability to apply that knowledge to make godly, life-altering decisions. It provides an unmistakable edge in navigating life's complexities and delivering you from unexpected disasters. Wisdom yields higher results than mere hard work. Wisdom maximizes impact while minimizing physical exhaustion. Labor produces output through force, but wisdom finds the leverage to make that force efficient. Hard labour without a clear goal leads to frustration and empty results. Wisdom provides the blueprint and destination, ensuring that every ounce of work moves you closer to success. Labour demands constant activity running from pillar to post to make all ends meet, which leads to burnout. Wisdom dictates that rest is not laziness; it is a strategic necessity to sustain high performance. You must desire to operate the supreme wisdom of God in this season of your life. Selah!
