Fight Your Fight In Faith.

“Fight the good fight for the faith. Keep holding on to eternal life, to which you were called and about which you gave a good testimony in front of many witnesses.” 1 Tim. 6:12. ISV.
When a soldier was leaving to fight for his country, a minister said to him, "I shall pray constantly that you may win." The soldier replied: "I don't see the necessity of your prayers. If God wants to give us victory, then He will do it without your prayers. And if it is our luck to lose, do you think your prayers could prevent this?" The minister thought for a moment and said, "All right. Take off your helmet. Take off your uniform. Put your rifle away. Go and rest. It's not necessary for you to fight. Nor is it necessary for the other soldiers to fight. If God intends to defeat the enemy, He is going to do it anyway without your arms." The soldier got the point. God helps those who fight, not those who do nothing. The sower plants the seed. That is our job, to sow the seed in human hearts. But we must also pray that God will give the increase. Then what a joy to witness the result and to give all the glory to God!
We are called to partner with the Lord, labour with him in prayers and obedience. Labouring with God and fighting the fight of faith requires intentional partnership with the Holy Spirit and an active stance against spiritual opposition. It involves standing firm on God’s Word, actively resisting doubt, and allowing His power to work through your daily efforts. You are not fighting your battles alone; you are a co-labourer with the Creator. The principle is to put forth your best effort while relying completely on the Holy Spirit's power working within you. When you face challenges or seek to do God's work, your strength will eventually fail. Instead of relying on human willpower alone, yield to God's Spirit, allowing Him to provide the vision, the desire, and the supernatural energy to carry it out.
It's a new month, God has spoken well concerning this month, but you must be ready to walk and work with Him. To fight the good fight, you must actively choose what you allow into your heart. This means fleeing from distractions, toxic mindsets, and worldly desires, while steadfastly fixing your focus on things that build spiritual maturity. In this new month, it's important to know that Prayer is your primary weapon and means of communication in spiritual warfare. The principle of active prayer involves bringing your needs boldly to God while maintaining an attitude of watchfulness against temptations and the wiles of the devil. The enemy will attempt to discourage you when results are not immediately visible. Fighting the good fight means standing firm through the waiting periods and continuing to labour in love until your desired change comes. I declare with faith and a strong sense of assurance that this month your desires will manifest in Jesus name. Selah!
