“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col. 3:23-24.
A young man decided to take private boxing lessons. He found a boxing coach at a nearby gym who agreed to give him twenty-six weekly sessions. As part of his instruction, the young man was required to spar with other aspiring boxers at the gym. After the first session, he was having pains all over his body. He didn’t realise that it would be this difficult. The battered youth had some questions for his coach. “You say there are twenty-six lessons in this course?” “That’s right,” answered the teacher. “And the rest of them are going to be like today?” “That’s right,” the coach replied. Scratching his head, the student asked, “Well, sir, I was wondering if I could take the other twenty-five lessons by online classes”
Everything that you would ever desire in this world that has any kind of value will cost you a high price. Whether it is a house, car, yacht, jet or whatever you are hoping to obtain someday, it will cost a great price—especially if it’s of top quality. Nothing is free, even the salvation of your soul is worth the precious blood of Jesus. Never take that for granted. He had to go to Calvary to earn you that salvation given you freely.
If you want the best, don’t cut costs. Give it all it takes the afford it. There is always a price for the prize certain challenges you go through is because of the height you seek to attain. You must hold on and not quit. Quitting is not in the nature of champions. You must adjust your vision, adjust your consciousness to accommodate your new normal which is endurance and resilience. All champions did that to become the best. May grace be granted to you to hold on until you attain your dreams in Jesus name, amen.
