“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Heb. 11:6.

God does not want you to just have faith, He prefers that you build a faith that works. A strong faith that gives you the ability to push through hard times, helps you move in a new direction when necessary, overcome fear, help others who are struggling, and enjoy an overall better quality of life. But how do you develop such a strong faith? The Bible gives us some guidance I like to share with you.

Study The Word Daily: The Bible is a book that is intended to produce faith in you. At the end of the gospel of John, we read, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” John 20:31. When you read the Bible, it’s a guideline to who you can become. You see why you must master it daily?

Put To Practice All You Read: The Bible is full of instructions and commands for every area of our lives: relationships, money, sexuality, temptation, worry, anger and fear. The idea around the Bible is simple-obedience and you come into a life of blessedness. Jesus put it this way, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock” Matt. 7:24-25. When you put the words of the Bible into practice, you will see your life gradually start to change.

Surround Yourself With The Right People: Your friends speak volume about you. Those you are comfortable with goes a long way to describe you. If you walk with the wise, you will become wise, if you walk with fools you will be destroyed. Pro. 13:20. Your company matters, they either build your faith or pull it down. They either make you or mar you, they either build you or destroy you. Your faith life is at the mercy of those you allow into your space.
