“A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The work of a man’s hands shall be rewarded to him.” Prov. 12:14.

If you want to enjoy life, then, watch the things you say. There is victory in your mouth, amazingly there is also defeat in your mouth. Your choice of words determines the destination of your life. It’s not enough to entirely blame the destination of your life on the government of the day in your country. There sure have a role to play in keeping the economy and providing an enabling but you sure do have a major role to determine the course of your life, because where your speech goes your life goes. Your mindset will determine your choice of words, your choice of words determines the atmosphere around your life. Certain atmospheres enhance prosperity while others repel it. You either attract help or repel it by the way you speak and your manner of approach.

If your words are right, your destiny will be right. If you can tame your tongue and ensure that your words are guided, you will never know defeat in life. No child of God is designed or destined for defeat. The words that you speak are what creates the circumstances, opportunities, situations and conditions around you, which eventually determines the outcome of your life. The power of life and death is in your mouth and not your boss at work or your business competitors. Choose your words right. Circumstances may come and go let your words be positive, creative and inspiring. Tell yourself that it’s getting better, remind yourself of the promises of God, tell yourself God is on your side therefore you will win.

By the way, I’m not teaching you the false doctrine of name it, claim it without works. I’m rather saying that the scriptures clearly tell us to tame our tongue. We are also told that our handiwork is still a product of our speech and words. Jesus Christ said. The words that I speak are spirit and life. Clearly we can conclude that our character and behaviour can determine the course of our lives. God can’t help a man whose speech is contrary to the scriptures. Don’t just be a christian by outlook, by a christian indeed, let your words enhance your life. Your words attract supernatural ripple effects, your words can either activate foul spirits or angelic hosts of God. Wouldn’t you rather speak to active angels? Watch your mouth.
