Keep A Winning Attitude.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but continuously be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect.” Rom. 12:2. ISV. 

An elderly woman was a practicing Christian. She had struggled with her finances a lot, but refused to give up on God. She had a neighbour on the other hand who hates her guts and temerity towards her faith in God. Her unbelieving neighbour  had done everything at her disposal to dissuade her from her faith in God, trying to convince her about the nonexistence of God. One day she found this woman praying and asking God for a supernatural supply of foodstuffs. To mock her this neighbour decided to drop a bag of groceries down her chimney, waiting to hear this woman claim God supplied it. As soon as she saw the food, went into a godly frenzy, thanking God for supply, her unbelieving neighbour came out shouting the devil brought it. “Well” the believing woman told her neighbour, “Yes God had told me that he will use the devil to supply my needs today, therefore thank You dear God for using the devil to meet my needs.” she silenced her unbelieving neighbour permanently.

Most things about life rises and falls on attitude, if your attitude is right, your circumstances would adjust in response to your attitude. The challenge is that many believers think that the right and winning attitude comes natural with salvation, nothing is further from the truth. The renewal of your mind is geared towards cultivating a new mental and spiritual attitude. If you don't renew your mind, you may end up as a junk yard for every religious and human thrash even though you are a child of God. Renewing your mind is not optional, it's a necessity for cultivating a winning attitude. Yes, a winning attitude is predominantly cultivated, rather than solely innate. While some individuals may have a natural inclination toward optimism or resilience, a winning mindset is a deliberate, daily, "inside-out" process involving mental training, habits, and self-awareness. 

It is built through conscious effort and, therefore, can be learned by anyone. Winners do not see failures as permanent defeats, but as a necessary, temporary learning curve for a permanent improvement. A winning attitude views challenges as opportunities or as puzzles to be solved, not as threats to be avoided. The winning attitude is that attitude that believes in continuous improvement, and adopts the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through hard work and dedication, rather than assuming they are fixed and don't need any effort to develop it. May God grant you every grace and wisdom that you need to achieve all there's and become all you so desire in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
