Living A Yielded Life.

“and do not present your members to sin as instruments to be used for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments to be used for righteousness.” Rom. 6:13. NET.

There have been occasions when I sit down to listen to some preachers, speaking so much about themselves and their abilities to do this and that. But as I sit down there listening, all that comes to mind is: “Brother, I’ll be interested to see you come to the end of that.” Because there’s a place God can bring you into, such that without doubt you know that you have come to the end of yourself. Who you used to be and the things you can do.. And I’m not talking of what we can do merely by our carnal ability or by education, but even in our ministry which is given us by God. We come to a place by divine appointment where we can do no more. The trouble with many people is they’ve never recognized it. What I’m saying is the result of God’s dealings with me over a number of years and I’m sure that God hasn’t finished his dealings.

You must as a matter of necessity submit yourself to divine dealings. Submitting to divine dealings requires placing complete trust in God's wisdom, goodness, and provision, even when circumstances seem contrary. This faith serves as the foundation for accepting His will. If you struggle with yielding yourself, it will impact on your outcome, so you will need a total overhaul of your mindset and attitude. A key principle involves aligning your life with the teachings and commands found in the Bible. This includes not just hearing the Word, but acting on it in your daily life.

The right place to start is the acknowledgement of God's sovereignty and your dependence on Him. A humble heart is teachable and willing to accept God's plan, even when it is difficult to understand. Recognizing that we are accountable to God for how we manage our time, talents, and resources helps in developing self-discipline and living a life that honours Him. This includes self-judgment and seeking to live a holy life. Hear me out, everything God does for you, in you and through you is for your own food. It may not seem like it for starters, it will eventually turn out for your good if you learn how to yield yourself completely to His dealings. Selah!
