Make The Most Of Opportunity.

“Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.” Eccle. 11:4. NLT.

In the early 1900s, a young black scientist named George Washington Carver arrived at the Tuskegee Institute. He was given a laboratory with zero equipment. Instead of complaining about his limitations, Carver possessed an extraordinary spirit of excellence. He went to the local trash dumps every day. He collected old bottles, broken fruit jars, and scraps of iron. He turned trash into laboratory equipment. From that makeshift lab, Carver discovered over 300 uses for the humble peanut, revolutionizing Southern agriculture and advising presidents. An extraordinary spirit does not wait for perfect conditions. It transforms poor conditions through God-given excellence and diligence. 

Waiting for perfect conditions paralyses progress, whereas turning God-given opportunities into solutions unlocks divine destiny. Scripture warns against the danger of hesitation, reminding believers that the world will never present an ideal environment for action. Faith demands movement in the face of uncertainty. When a believer steps out to create solutions with the resources at hand, God multiplies their efforts. The world is inherently broken, meaning perfect timing is an illusion that breeds procrastination. Believers must cultivate a mindset that acts despite unfavourable surroundings, trusting God to control the elements.

Faith remains dormant until it is expressed through decisive action. Believers cannot wait for clarity or absolute certainty before obeying a divine prompt to solve a problem. Stepping into an opportunity, even when the outcome seems risky, signals absolute trust in God's backing. Time is a finite resource that slips away during periods of passive waiting. Every moment presents a window of opportunity to manifest the kingdom of God through practical solutions. Believers must view time as an active currency to be spent wisely, especially in corrupt or challenging eras.
