The Testing Of Your Faith.

“Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James. 1:3-4.

Have you ever seen a blacksmith work with a piece of iron? He holds it in the fire to soften it and make it pliable. That is exactly why God permits the testing of your faith by temptations and trials. He wants you to acquire patience, to acquire pliability. If you and I are constantly out of the fire of affliction, we become stiff and useless. God wants to reshape us according to His image, for in the fall of Adam we lost our divine shape, our divine image. Faith is a daily necessity whether one is getting married, taking a job, struggling with an illness, or overcoming a handicap. And faith in God is the cornerstone of all other faiths. As a doctor once said, "When I learn a patient has no faith in God, I dismiss the case. There is nothing to build on." Faith brings you back into shape to be able to walk with God.

Building faith and integrity requires an intentional, daily alignment of your heart, thoughts, and actions with God’s Word. It is about trusting God's promises in every season and maintaining a blameless character, knowing that He faithfully guides and rewards those who walk uprightly. True faith begins with absolute confidence that God is who He says He is. Walking with Him in integrity means trusting His promises even when you do not understand the circumstances, knowing that He is flawless and faithful. Faith without corresponding actions is dead. Biblical integrity means your inner beliefs match your outward conduct, and your daily life reflects moral purity and honesty. The condition of your heart determines the quality of your faith and the level of your integrity. You must protect your mind and emotions from corrupt influences, as they dictate the course of your life. 

You cannot build faith in what you do not know. Immersing yourself in the Scriptures illuminates your path, strengthens your spiritual understanding, and keeps your conscience clear. Walking with God requires a firm commitment without wavering. A life of integrity refuses to take crooked or deceitful shortcuts, choosing instead to stand steadfast on God's truth. You cannot sustain a faithful, holy life through human willpower alone. Integrity requires humbling yourself, admitting your weaknesses, and depending on God's grace to lead you in paths of righteousness. Building a resilient faith involves trials that test and mature your character. Integrity means remaining patient and steadfast, trusting that God's plans will unfold perfectly in His time. Selah!

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Lord, when my faith is tested, I ask that You grant me the grace not to give up or grow weary. I choose to surrender my fears, my doubts, and my anxieties to You. Please let this trial have its perfect work in my life. Refine my character, strengthen my spirit, and use this season to produce patience and perseverance in me, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
