Trust God's Process.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psa. 46:1.

I read about a farmer who had a mule that  fell into an old disused well. The mule brayed incessantly and stomped about in the confined space but it was no good; it was stuck. The distraught animal was just too far down and the farmer, try as he might, couldn’t pull him out. It was hopeless! Finally, the saddened farmer resigned to put the mule out of its misery. He decided that the best thing for it would be to fill the well with earth and bury the hapless animal. The old man fetched his truck and swallowed hard as tipped the first load of earth into the well. The mule panicked and instead of letting itself be buried, it kicked and stomped even more. In fact, the mule stomped so much that he trampled the earth down under its hooves and ended up climbing on top of it. The same thing happened with the second and the third load. Each time the mule would stomp and kick and trample the earth down, and each time the mule would climb higher and higher up the well shaft. Finally, the mule made it to the top and jumped free, having learnt a very valuable lesson.

Don’t allow your non-success to bury you alive; don’t allow it to become a permanent failure! Remember, successful people are just failures that keep on trying… so, keep on keeping on! Overcoming difficult situations often involves replacing negative thoughts with truth from Scripture. By meditating on God's promises, you can maintain hope and right perspective even in the face of great difficulty. Rather than complaining, the Bible advises turning challenges into occasions for worship. Praise is a form of action that affirms faith in God’s power to deliver, often before the situation changes. Satan often uses difficult situations to stir up anger, resentment, and unforgiveness, which can cause long-term harm. Overcoming obstacles requires choosing to respond with love rather than bitterness. 

True faith is demonstrated through action, even when the future seems uncertain. This involves continuing to obey God's commands and moving forward in confidence, despite the circumstances. God never promised us an easy life, but He did promise us that He will always be there for us and never leave us nor forsake us. We can trust our Heavenly Father to guide us through the darkest valleys of our lives. So, how can we overcome difficult obstacles? What does the Bible say?  Whenever you face challenges, do not give in to, or entertain, sin. The devil knows your weaknesses and will do whatever he can to drag you down and away from living a life that is pleasing to God. God is strong, and He makes us strong — especially when weak. Obstacles expose our weaknesses and increase our dependency upon Christ. They help us see how strong and powerful our God is. He alone can give us the strength and wisdom we need to endure.

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba Father, I thank You for the gift of life and the privilege of salvation. Dear Lord, I come to You feeling surrounded by troubles, but I know You are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of need. Lord, I surrender these battles into Your hands, trusting in Your mighty power to defend and deliver me. Wisdom, grace and enablement is granted me today, to live above every reproach and affliction planned against me by the adversary in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
