Walking In Divine Alignment.

“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James. 4:8.

During the American Civil War, which was between 1861 - 1865, a minister told the then US President Abraham Lincoln that he hoped God was on their side. Lincoln’s response was cutting, and biblical: Abraham Lincoln turned to the Minster and said “Sir, my concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side, for God is always right. We are the ones who must do anything and everything to ensure we are on His side.” – The minister was speechless, because it was a word to indeed ponder upon. Think about your day: your plans, hopes and ambitions. Are you asking God to be on your side, delivering all that you want your life to be? Or are you asking God to make sure you are on His side. There's an urgent need, to right now and henceforth begin to pray and bring yourself into alignment.

I strongly believe that the burden of the moment is for people who are committed to walking in God's plans. Walking into God’s plan involves a life of intentional faith and total surrender, rather than following a rigid formula. It's time to cultivate a consistent Prayer life on a daily basis, the content of your prayers must become upgraded. It's time to desire complete surrender. Walking in God’s plan begins by submitting your own agenda to Him. This involves daily prayer to seek wisdom, as promised in James 1:5, and surrendering your desires to trust in His timing, His will, and His words. It means henceforth, you are migrating from living according to your plans to as saying like Jesus: “Not my will but your will be done in my life.”

In the days ahead , you must align your decisions with scriptures. God’s written Word provides the foundational principles for life, covering ethics, stewardship, and relationships. Clinging to Scripture acts as a filter to discern His will, ensuring your steps do not violate His commands. If a decision contradicts biblical principles, it is not part of God’s plan. To completely achieve this new ideal, seeking counsel from spiritually matured and trusted mentors helps you avoid impulsive, emotional decisions and provides perspective you might miss alone. This principle highlights the value of godly partnership in navigating God’s will for your life. It's my prayer and desire that you will live a life that is inspiring and obedient to the very purpose of God for your life. Selah.

I surrender my own desires, ambitions, and plans to You, trusting that Your ways are higher and Your timing is perfect. Lord, open my eyes and ears to discern Your voice. Align my thoughts, decisions, and emotions with Your divine agenda. Remove any distractions, doubts, or fears that hinder me from fulfilling the purpose You have designed for me.  Order my steps into divine appointments and connect me with the right people who will help me fulfill my destiny in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
