You Were Made For More.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Phil. 4:13.

When professional athletes approach the finishing line, they don’t slow down; instead they search their reserves for that extra push and then race flat-out for the line. In fact, professional runners don’t stop when they reach the finishing line – they can’t, because they are running so fast they need time to slow down afterwards. Similarly, a martial arts expert doesn’t focus on the object he is going to break; instead he focuses past it. Likewise, when it comes to striving towards a goal, don’t stop at the finishing line. Instead, set yourself a new target, a new finishing line – a new goal to replace the one you just “lost” by winning it. It's so important that you arm yourself with this important mindset so that you don't lack the necessary information and equipment needed for attaining victory in your assignment in destiny.

What we are actually saying is that, you must be willing to go the extra mile in achieving success. The principles are very simple. Do not wait to be asked; identify what needs to be done and take ownership to get it achieved. Often before a problem arises be proactive about your attitude to dealing with such problems. Go beyond "good enough." Focus on precision, improvement and adding value that exceeds expectations in every task.

Approach extra tasks with enthusiasm and a "can-do" spirit, rather than resentment. A positive, helpful attitude is essential for the effort to be achieved with excellence and precision. Move beyond standard efforts by understanding the specific needs and demands of that which you seek to do. View extra effort as a long-term investment in your reputation and skills rather than just a short-term sacrifice, as this consistent, high-quality work leads to greater opportunities to do more, become better and greater and achieve more in the mighty name of Jesus.
