“Hate what is wrong, love what is right! Promote justice at the city gate! Maybe the LORD, the God who commands armies, will have mercy on those who are left from Joseph.” Amos. 5:15.

Every one man created by God is designed for a purpose. It's very important you discover early enough what you are designed to achieve for God here on earth. Too many people go through life wandering and wondering what they are really here to do. That's why it's often said, your life will eventually serve as either a warning or an example. A caution or an inspiration. A warning of the consequences of neglect, self-pity, lack of direction and ambition; or as an example of talent put to use, of discipline self-imposed, and of objectives clearly perceived and intensely pursued. That said it behoves you to determine by your daily actions whether you have chosen to be a warning or an inspiration. The earlier you choose the better for you.

Serve God, not self: Paul used the the concept of becoming a "bond slave" in the Scriptures. At the beginning of his letter to the Romans, Paul introduces himself as  “Paul, a slave of Christ Jesus, a called apostle set apart for the gospel of God . It means that we are the slaves, and He is the master. That means that we must surrender completely, without reservation. Many would see this type of service as lowly, and it is humbling, but it should be seen as a privilege to serve such a loving Lord. We are designed to serve, we must love the Lord and serve Him with all that we have been given.

Worship God, not comfort: humanity is created to worship. If you go around the world and you just study various tribes and cultures they all worship something. Something inside of us craves to worship. You can worship money, you can worship an idol, you could worship a thing. Now ultimately, we are designed to worship God. This is why Jesus came. It is so that we could be restored to fellowship, our sins forgiven, that we could have a worshipping, loving relationship with our Father. This is our primary purpose in life. In our world today, the first concern of most people is themselves - It’s all about me. This is so simple we can miss it. It is important to understand as long as you think it’s all about you, you won’t find your purpose. You can be anything you want to be. It’s all about you. No, it’s not. Not if you’re a believer. If you’re first concern is to look after yourself, you’ll never find yourself. Until you surrender to God and say, “God, I surrender my life to You, I worship You,” then the Creator can reveal who you really are. Selah!

DECLARATION:

Dear Abba I thank You for the privilege of being in the land of the living. Father, I pray for the grace to serve you passionately. I pray for the grace not to serve wealth but to serve God.  I pray that you will give me a heart on fire for you. I walk in God's will and counsel, do that which God has designed and chosen me to do. The enemy do not have a place in my life and my space, all that concerns me is perfected by God to the glory of His name in Jesus name.
